- Skills:
Combat Skills
- Swordsmanship: Brenna has basic training in the ways of the sword as a result of being in the military, though she is quite honestly terrible.
- Archery: Brenna is a highly proficient archer, able to make many difficult shots, though she is by no means a master. She has no idea how to operate a crossbow, however.
- Firearms: Brenna has basic training in the use of a matchlock arquebus, though she is not nearly as good of a sniper as she is an archer.
- Unarmed combat: Brenna is no master martial artist, though angering her might not be the best idea unless you want a bloodied nose.
- Thrown weapons (spears, shiruken, knives, etc.): Brenna is very embarrassed about it, but she has a terrible throwing arm. It's not that she's not strong enough, rather, she almost always misses whatever she's trying to hit.
Other Skills
- Magic: Brenna has no training at all in the magical arts.
- Stealth: No matter how much she tries, Brenna is absolutely terrible at sneaking up on things.
- First Aid: Brenna knows that if someone is bleeding, you should try to stop the bleeding. That's about it.
- Cooking: Brenna couldn't cook if her life depended on it.
- Riding: Brenna can ride a horse. That doesn't mean she should.
- Swimming: Brenna is like a fish. A fish with arms and legs.
- Musical Talents: An incredibly talented ocarina player, Brenna can easily play any song you teach her, and she has a good singing voice to boot.

Where to begin? I don’t know. I guess I should just start with the biggest thing. So, uh, today I found out I have no soul. Lovely. You know, I’m not even sure how that’s possible. Doesn’t everyone have a soul? How can I not have a soul? Does that mean I’m undead, then? Well, that mage said that technically I am. Except that I never died. Or, rather, the body never died. I’m not the body. I’m just a soul. I know that contradicts what I just written down, believe me, I do, but I’m just trying to wrap my head around this. I can’t understand it. From what I gather, I’m.. artificial. I was created. That explains, I suppose, why I can’t remember my life before a month and a half ago, but I can remember how to speak and use a bow and dress myself and the like. It’s all... it’s.. I don’t even know what the word for it is. It’s... built-in. That’s it, it’s built in. I’m not an amnesiac. I never forgot anything. The memories weren’t there in the first place. I can’t think of how that’s possible. I can’t imagine it. I’m dead. I’m not alive. I’m not a vampire, though. I’m... I’m like a golem. Except the problem with that is the fact that I know what a golem is. I’ve read about them (I think, maybe that’s just more of what was already there). They’re not smart. They don’t have independent thought or emotions. But I do. The mage said it’s because it’s a tradeoff. Whoever created me gave me intelligence and such, but at the cost of me barely being able to remember things that happened two seconds ago unless I make a concentrated effort. I suppose there’d be no point in remembering anything anyway if I couldn’t understand any of it. What would be the point of remembering a great painting if you didn’t understand what art even was? There wouldn’t be. He said that I used to be someone else. Or, rather, that there was someone else in my body. She’s probably dead now, though. But she could also be imprisoned somewhere. It’s tough, knowing I’m not supposed to be here. I feel like maybe I should just embrace my fate, then. Just give up. I mean, I was probably supposed to be completely mindless. Just standing there and following orders or whatever. Maybe that’s what I should do, then. But I can’t bring myself to do that either. The woman that was here before me... I’ll never meet her. It makes me wonder if her name was Brenna. Was this just some name they gave me, then? That means there IS no Brenna. Nobody’s here. He says I’m being held together by some sort of powerful magic. What do I do, then? I’m dead. I’m DEAD. How do I.. I can’t comprehend it. I feel like I’m not complete now. Like these hands aren’t mine.

| Interesting concept, but there are a few problems with it. First and foremost, was this in approval or did you just post it directly here? She could use an examination by the lore writers to make sure she doesn't contradict anything, and her abilities might need to be looked over as well. | Currently Brenna is under my wing, and I'm not certain if it'd be benefical if her origins were publicly revealed. Crit and I are starting to form a decent picture of what has happened to her and how she came to be, and the side-effects of her being what she is. I said the information is not final, and it never will be, because characters develop as time goes on. I consider all my characters on all servers to be permanent works in progress. I said the information was not final, meaning it would be updated in accordance of what happened in the RP. Now, to address your other concerns: she is an artificial soul. They have been programmed, more or less. I know some may think I'm saying this as a cheap way out, but really, it's logical. She is in the Blackwatch because nobody was aware of her condition at the time of her recruitment, including Brenna herself. Why she is in Surna and what her EXACT origins are, will remain unposted for the time being for reasons Moot presented in the previous post. | |

| Another character that has been in limbo. I throw in my accept because I haven't found Crit trying to power/metagame in roleplay. The archery I would like to see toned down a tad, especially considering the military wouldn't be training anyone in use of a bow. | |
