The Zaedrax know both The Republic of Soter's language, as well as the language or messages sent by this new nation. Interception would be capable by the ZTN Wonder's advanced communications and scanning suite.

There was also mention to knowing of your communications, but you didn't point it out, therefore I assumed you had no problems with it.

OOC: When you said that I thought you were referencing the conference we had just had, where I said the same exact thing. Had I known I could have called you out on it then and there.

First off neither of us know the language of the species on that planet, they know ours, as discussed in our previous linguistics.

Secondly, my ships have the same ability to intercept communications, as do most other ships, but the ultimate problem you're going to end up having, is if we begin assuming abilities are taking place, such as cracking my codes for transmission, then ultimately we're going to hit a lot of rough water when someone says "well my shields were up" when they were fired upon, or their weapons were already charged. So had you made it clear the ship was intercepting and attempting to decode messages, I would have grudgingly accepted that, but then in turn my ships would be doing the exact same thing to yours, all assumed, meaning we'd start having a long talk about encryptions and how we use them. So I've got kind of a problem with my codes immediately being cracked on a narrow beam transmission to a satellite you're not transmitting to.

I understand, and can see where you're coming from, and it makes sense, so as I said:

Also, how would you be able to send encrypted messages to a new nation's satellites? Nowhere in your posts did you mention an encryption, or sending a means to decode it to them.

Either way, if I were to remove the intercepting parts of my post, the outcome would be the same.

The multiped tanks back off and move to the side, two armored carriers roll down the street. They stop just a couple meters from the carnage, brakes grinding them to a halt. Metal doors on either side of the carriers deploy, acting as tactical barriers as soldiers in light armor deploy and move in on the site. They begin to drag the bodies and toss them into the carriers, others pick up what scraps remain. The street returns to a more lively appearance, ignoring the bullet holes.

The armored carriers pack up and move out, taking a hidden entryway into a bunker followed by the tanks. The cities still echo their warning alarms, keeping people hidden underground. A message is transmitted out.

OOC: If you remove the intercepting you can't call my men to Pyura station and blame them for the incident, I talked it over with the GM, you need to state if you're going to intercept transmission, unless you think its ok for me to bug pyura station completely and steal tech and info.

The drop ship exits the atmosphere, regroups with the fighter escort. They then proceed to dock with the RSS Mercy.

The Admiral sends a message to the satellite.

The Admiral then proceeds to send a message to the Zaedrax and the Amundi

The Soter ships drop a listening beacon on the outside of the solar system beyond the reach of the planet's satellites.

The Admiral sends a message to the planet

The Admiral transmits the coordinates to the satellite.

On an encrypted signal to the Zaedrax ship the Admiral sends the following message

The Republic of Soter has heard about the situation going on over your planet, this fleet will be participating in either the stopping or cleaning up of the Mass from your planet. We are going to rearm, refuel and be refitted, then will come to your aid. I'm just letting you know we've heard of your plight and are currently assembling forces to help you.

The fleet jumps out of the system and heads back to Soter Space through several random jumps, then after becoming untraceable, heads toward Novus Spera.
