The Ross twins. Both of which play a roll in leading House Ross, one of the largest Occitanian Noble Houses with over 600 years of accumulated wealth. The two run their father's (now largely expanded) trading company in decent competition with the Heartland's Guild and the Imperial Trade Co. The two live in seclusion in a castle in the mountains of Occitan. The two have remained rather anonymous for the past 300 years, and now decide to turn their grasp towards Surna, the trade hub of Sanctimonia once they discover it's besiegement beginning to cut into their company's profits. They, along with the help of Surna's branch of The Wargs syndicate begin their endeavors to try and put a stop to the evil haulting their business, in hopes of expanding House Ross itself into Sanctimonia. They wish to acquire powerful allies and acquaintances alike. With the help of their wealth and reknown, perhaps they'll succeed and return home with a list of new kin, or perhaps they'll return empty handed and continue their endeavors elsewhere... who else but the heroes of Surna can decide?

- Victor & Elizabeth are born into an Occitanian noble house, House Ross.
- Their father owns a thriving trading company, though it's good for it's time, 300 years before our current storyline.
- Their mother works as a Noblewoman in the Occitanian Royal Court.
- The two are given fantastic education due to their family's wealth.
- 8 years old, Elizabeth takes up fencing as a hobby, Victor turns to alchemy through his uncle.
- Elizabeth, being a quick learner becomes quite a good fencer by the age of 12, Victor's alchemic interests begin to flourish.
- Age 15, the two become good at what they do, Victor discovers his magical capabilities.
- A few months after their 16th birthday, Victor is inducted into his father's business as a travelling merchant. He turns his gaze towards riches and fame.
- With the assistance of magic, and the potency of alchemy Victor feels he can conquer anything.
- Victor sets off with his father in an attempt to accumulate further riches for his family.
- Elizabeth keeps her gaze on fencing, she rises to an expert level.
- In the weeks to come, Elizabeth begins to take note of her brother's lust for wealth, joining him in such fascinations the two begin to continue with their father's work.
- Years pass, their father is killed in a caravan attack.
- Their arrogant mother is left nothing in their father's will.
- Age 20, Victor and Elizabeth inherit their father's company, and the accumulated family wealth.
- Age 21, Elizabeth discovers her blood-lust and sadistic nature after killing an assassin making an attempt for their mother's life.
- Victor accepts his sister's nature, having quite the blood craze himself, though he isn't overwhelmed by it.
- For the remaining few months, the twins hide themselves from the public, in fear of public impression.
- 6 months after the incident, the two are confronted by a vampiric cult.
- The two indulge themselves in dark teachings.
- The twins remain with the vampiric cult for some time, learning about the world of the dead and what it has to offer, along with the gift of vampirism.
- The twins' mother, remaining upset with the outcome of their father's will, begins to conspire against Elizabeth.
- Victor is eventually inducted into the inner circle of the cult, they bestow the gift of vampirism unto him.
- Their mother finally makes an attempt on Elizabeth's life, stabbing her four times in the stomach with a dagger.
- Victor walks in on the two, proceeding to incapacitate his mother with a fire-poker.
- Victor brutally bestows the gift of vampirism unto his twin, saving her life by doing so.
- The two literally rip their mother limb from limb in a blood-crazed Hunger drawn by their new-found gift.
- With a struggle, their mother is ripped apart while she's conscious, able to put up little fight against two new-born vampires.
- The two vow to never speak of the incident, though Elizabeth holds Victor's actions against him for a series of years.
- The two continue to run their business in their own ways, allowing the cult they were inducted into to reside with them in their castle.
- Fifty years pass before the two speak once more. Elizabeth eventually forgives Victor, beginning to enjoy the new lifestyle.
- Victor & Elizabeth return to their common interest. They slowly begin to expand the reaches of their power throughout the smaller regions of Occitan.
- The twins begin to anonymously buy out all of the smaller trading companies, bringing them into House Ross as new expansions throughout Occitan.
- The two eventually hault their operations for the next 15 years, allowing what they have to bring coin in and remain below the radar.
- Victor & Elizabeth eventually outlive their competition. They begin their endeavors once more, using only servants and messengers for transactions, never going personally.
- Their operations become successful as they slowly begin to monopolize their corner of Occitan, controlling all trade in the north-eastern quarter of the area.
- They sit back for a few years and let their wealth nearly double itself.
- 5 or so years pass, their wealth -has- infact doubled itself.
- With their new wealth, they buy House Ross into Occitan Mercantalism Co. The major trading company in Occitan, though unable to completely buy it out, they have a fair amount of shares with the company.
- The twins, being approximately 95 have accumulated quite the wealth. They grow tired of the current age and consider going into seclusion.
- Eighty five years pass.
- The twins exit their period of seclusion, coming into a new age where cities become popular, more Noble houses have been formed, and where their name is hardly remembered by those they havn't taken control of. They discover new mechanics, firearms, magic's taken it's toll for the better. Victor takes interest in the new alchemic advances, Elizabeth in the new forms of swordsmanship.
- The two begin this prosperous new age with their few-hundred years of newly accumulated wealth ontop of their inheritance which remains lively.
- Empires have formed, others have fallen. The twins begin their endeavors with the newer trading companies, forging alliances, breaking hearts, and taking names.
- Their ruthlessness has come into full effect. They reap what they sow, and what they reap is quite bountiful.
- Moving back up in the world, the twins pull themselves among the top three Noble Houses of Occitan, being the highlight of high society for many years, given their second-coming into the same world, only in a new age.
- Robael Locule's (the Guild leader for The Wargs) predecessor, Atnor-Bah approaches the Ross twins, contracts his guild's allegiance to house Ross. In return, the twins reward him and his men with an easier lifestyle through coin, and privileges exclusive to the rich.
- House Ross puts The Wargs to work, using them as their eyes and ears among low society, as well as the criminal underworld.
- House Ross, through The Wargs, pays into a cut of the Occitan smuggling ring. House Ross launders the goods acquired through the smuggling ring in exchange for approximately 40% of the profits.
- Given their renowned trading corporation their business is assumed legitimate, not many questions are asked, nor are many fingers pointed at the Noble House for doing what they do.
- Rising up in the world, House Ross becomes the second wealthiest and regarded family in Occitan's Noble Houses.
- They continue their endeavors, research, and conspiracies with the help of the Occitanian underworld, becoming one of the largest thriving underworld organizations throughout the province.
- A multitude of decades later, the twins discover the trading hub in the province of Sanctimonia known as Surna, they begin to import and export goods through a multitude of sources, benefiting both provinces' economies.
- A short time after, Surna is blockaded by the blight forces. The Ross twins, now being put out of business with their new-found friends in Sanctimonia, notice this cuts into a fair chunk of their profits.
- The twins decide to take their endeavors there personally, to assist in re-establishing their commerce by any means necessary.
- Going by their own agenda, the twins work both inside, and outside the law in an attempt to reap what they were always looking for in Sanctimonia, wealth and power..
