| Seder & Tsleel - the Twin Deities of SoundSeder- Spoiler:
- Who he is wrote:
- Born a mortal male, ascended when he saw the laws of infinity and the patterns of eternity. He views order as something all are bound to, even those that seem to defy it. He sees the laws of all realms and understands that they bind the whole of the Crystal Sphere together. His understanding falls short of only Akash, who sees and knows all.
Tsleel- Spoiler:
- Who she is wrote:
- The Patroness of Sound, was a mortal female. She was the living sibling of Seder prior to his ascendency. She sees all sound from a spiritual level, how it connects with the soul and moves the emotions; so much so that she can twist the mind and break the soul with a song. She is connected to all music, human or animal or spirit in nature. Every song sung, every instrument played, every sound has an effect on her.
- Her chosen wrote:
- Those blessed of Tsleel are known as Shekets. Shekets make a contract with Tsleel that in return for her sight of sound, they will never speak. The sight is that of the Weave, or rather, an indirect view of the Weave through the lenses of sound. The price of breaking the contract is instant forfeit of one's soul. In keeping with being able to see sound, they are capable of sound evocation on a master level.
Kvu Tzah- Spoiler:
The organization that follows the twin gods is know as the Kvu Tzah. They are relatively small but growing rapidly. The ideals they represent are so close to Tyr's that some even confuse them, although they give even more freedom for personal gain. Often will the Kvu Tzah send out Teomim, pairs of travelling missionaries which always consist of one male and one female, in reverence to the twin deities they worship. This group is not typically hostile, but is very capable of combat for the sake of self-preservation. Each member of the pair is learned in weapons combat or sound magic. The other learns the compliment and they are well taught to act as a single combat entity. This being said, to disable one usually means to leave the other open for attack. The Akhot mage would be for range, while the Akh soldier would be a close quarters fighter. - Creed wrote:
- Music is harmony. Sound is beauty.
- Holy Text wrote:
- The holy text is know as the Vultet Tsavr. It contains all the rules that the Kvu Tzah are to follow and is taught to all the followers. Only the Akh have been forced to memorize it word for word, but all the Akhot know what it says.
- Names wrote:
- Seder and Tsleel are referred to by several names, as well as those following under them. The most common being those below:
- Akhai - The brother and sister together
- Akh - The brother, Seder
- Akhot - The sister, Tsleel
Ranks - Kohen Gadol - High Priest wrote:
- The highest rank that serves both the gods equally, the Kohen Gadol is usually hand picked by their predecessor. Their job is to oversee the entire Kvu Tzah as it trains Khavu Gemr and sends Teomim into the field, as well as watching over the Kohen and Kvuhunet as they run the various administrative jobs under him. The Kohen Gadol is always male. The current Kohen Gadol is Temmir Gol.
- Kohen & Kvuhunet - Priest & Priestess wrote:
- The Kohen and Kvuhunet are the backbone of the Kvu Tzah. While they are not in the field now, many of them were at some point, returning home after several years of spreading the teachings of their gods as Teomem. Some of the jobs held by the Kohen and Kvuhunet are overseeing the teaching of both Khavut Gemr and Khahr by the Vulah Muhlem.
- Fekaph Daled - Scribe wrote:
- The Fekaph Daled is resposible for writing down all the divine covenants spoken by either deity. Usually he or she is kept in a room adjacent to the temple hall that Seder and his sister dwell in. He records all he hears, which is only what Tsleel wants him or her to hear. They are picked out as children to do this task, trained until their predecessor is incapable of doing their job any longer. This job is the closest that any unblessed are capable of getting to the gods and they are always being watched by the Navi.
- Vudh - Archivist wrote:
- Keeps the records of all the covenants and Teomem in the field. Usually this job is kept by a few followers that are believed incapable of field work as Teomem. These usually include converts that were too old to be trained in combat, as well as the lame.
- Teomem - Missionary wrote:
- The travelling preachers of the ways of the Akhai, these are previous Khavu Gemr. The Teomem are always matched up as a male and a female during assignment during induction. Their job is to set of a following within each town city
- Vulah Muhlem - Scholar wrote:
- Separated into Akh and Akhot Vulah Muhlem, these are the teachers and keepers of the Khavu. Their job is entirely focused on teaching either the sonic magic of Tsleel or the law and dispels of Seder.
- Khavu Gemr - Soldier/Acolyte wrote:
- The step aboove the Khavu Khahr, the Gemr continue training, but now serve in the facilities of the Kvu Tzah as guards and personal helpers when they are not studying or in practice. This rank and the associated training takes another five years. They are then tested for field readiness.
- Khavu Khahr - Student wrote:
- A male and a female are chosen from the followers of the Akhai to become Teomem. The ceremony is known as Induction. The inductees, known by the deity they are to study under, are either Akh or Akhot. All inductees are at least eighteen. Akhot Khavu Khahr are to become knowledgable in the art of music and sound magic. This training is much less stringent that the training of the Akh, but takes longer due to having many more facets to cover. Akh Khavu Khahr are trained in martial combat, the like of which looks like dancing to the untrained eye. They both finish their training at the rank of Khahr at the age of 25.
- Magics of the Kvu Tzah:
[b][size=18]Evocation: Sound
Sound Mimicry - Commonly referred to as the "parrot" spell, this spell is the easiest to learn as it requires one to repeat instead of creat from scratch. This is known by all Akhot Khavu Khahr.
Make Sound - The second easiest spell, this spell only requires one know how to mimic sounds enough to mix and match their own. This spell is by all Akhot Khavu Khahr.
Displace Sound - The effect of displacement is like making sound appear to be coming from somewhere else. It is slightly more difficult than mimicry and production of sound. This spell is known by all Akhot Khavu Gemr.
Relay sound - Relay sound is has the effect of making any noise travel large distances that it would otherwise fade in. This spell is known by all Akhot Khavu Gemr.
Augment Sound - This spell will make any sound the caster picks louder. The decibel level gained determines the difficulty. This spell is known by all Akhot Teomem.
Suppress Sound - This spell will make any sound the caster picks quieter. The decibel level lost determines of the difficulty. This spell is know by all Akhot Teomem.

| Very nice. I can see the Sound Evocation used for spreading propaganda sometime. | |

| There are good ideas in here, but as a whole, I don't think this would work.
It could be argued that the Pact (Tyr, Aten, Ilmatyr) fulfills the same role, not just as Gods of Order but also as this idea of the Kvu Tzah (how is that pronounced?). You even state that it's quite similar to Tyr worship. And any god that preaches using antimagic is on the path to its own destruction. All gods rely on magic, heavily. Magic is very important to a god's survival.
Now here's what I do like: the Goddess of Sound, and associated sound magic. This is something I haven't seen in our lore, and it could easily fit right into the pantheon. The stuff on antimagic could also be adapted into some sort of antimagic group, perhaps, just not a religious order.

Would be good to see that these mage hunters are part of some organized group with a hierarchy to purge magic users. They seem to be all over the place without much lore mentioning them.

| I quite like the abilities and lore proposed in here, Munroe seems to have a solid grasp on the lore regarding the weave and magic, and perhaps his advice could help get this fully accepted, and a part of the server. = ) | |

| I think it is quite possible to have just sound, but I would have to talk it over with Col Awesome.
Honestly I will take what I can get with regards to accepted lore due to the lack of posted lore and knowing what has and hasn't been written.
Really, the only change would be the lack of antimagic, but there would still be twin deities. This being said, I can make a quick modification to the current post, but it would be without the approval of Awesome.
After the change, let me know what you think with regards to the new deity lore.
I have made a backup of the original post.

| Phoenix Rhapsody has severed all ties with this community, going as far to delete any players whom have initially come into contact with him through this RP, leading all the way up to myself, which says something to me as we've talked various and frequent times on much more than just Aeria. Whether or not he plans to come back, real-life circumstances permitting, from what I know seems vastly unlikely.
At this point, I don't know how to judge whether or not this content should be added at this point; with him no longer being present, and it being his written word. It was created for us to use, but at the same time, it is his own.
If someone can contact him about this, maybe we can see it through, as something to remember him by perhaps.
