Aurora Melrose

Occitan of birth, Aurora wasn't much of the traveling type. She studied for many years how to play an assortment of instruments, and to speak many of the languages of the land. Such is common of a daughter of the aristocracy. Then one day, a stranger popped into town, she was strolling out in the marketplace, paying the world little noticed, when this fellow caught her eye, he was playing a silvery flute with an empty coin-purse at his feet, Aurora approached the man and tossed him a small note, written in many languages the same phrase.

Meet me at the fountain later tonight. ~AM

And so he did. The two exchanged words on their pasts, she told him of how her father was killed by a man in a mask and how her mother left him to be with his brother. How she was stricken with depression for many a year and how she would stroll the marketplace everyday like she used to with her father. The boy told of his mother who was a prostitute and of his father who was far too drunk and far too abusive. How he was shunned by his own father for magic and sent on a ship to the elven nation of Sanctimonia. How he was adopted by a sea-faring captain and was given a beautiful buff-coat which he had enchanted to block sword blows.

That boy's name was Austin, and his story moved the young woman, she pleaded of her mother to let the boy live with them, and the mother agreed. They spent three years in Occitan together. They were the closest of couples and the best of friends, and one beautiful night, the boy placed on her hand a beautiful ring, and promised to marry her. A month of planning ensued and they were wed. Now, the couple have decided to travel the world see the sights, and their journey begins in Aekhan, the Marketplace of the World.

In all seriousness, I believe this to be a fine character, more supportive than anything, which is more than I can say for any of the ForumRP chars out there; even mine.

As well, as is usual, you portrayed your character well in format and story telling, though I hope we don't see too many depressed characters coming around, I guess in your tough medieval world it is an acceptable, if not realistic backbone. You have my approval of this character, though, I warn you; I have this odd urge to kick overly 'I'm Sad!' characters in the mouth. = P
