| I'm separating "events" from "news" and making this forum a place where you can post your event ideas, and plan when and where they'll take place. There's no specific requirements for posting events, but I would recommend using a form like this: - Code:

Event Name Here
Description: What is the event about? Can you give a basic rundown?
Participants: Who is going to be participating? Who can participate? If anyone can, leave this blank.
When: Exactly what time will the event be held? Be specific, include your timezone.
Where: Where in Aeria will this event take place?
Reward (if any): Will anyone receive any good loot or monetary reward for completing the event? If so, what? Please be reasonable in giving out awards, no god-tier items or millions of shillings. Another reason to post events here is to make sure they fit the setting and, yes, the lore. For example, being attacked by a sea serpent wouldn't work because we're not by the ocean. Alien invaders also aren't a part of this setting (as far as I know).

| The Festival of the Blessed Maiden
Description: A celebration of the birth, faith, and accomplishments of Alyssa Munroe. The first day will have the Commander of the Watch and Cleric Cald open the festival with a speech, and a symbolic meeting of swords. From here to the end of the Festival will open games and events similar to the Liberation Festival. The second day will see a sermon concerning Alyssa's life by Cleric Cald. The third day will have a feast in the Crook and Horns, with city officials in attendance. All food is free; games are not.
Participants:
When:Oct 12 - 14th
Where: Surna
Reward (if any): Games can pay a couple dozen shillings, if you're lucky. Every game played rewards you a ticket, which increases your chance of winning larger prizes and trinkets at a raffle event at the end of each day. | |

Rabbit Hunt
Description: A slew of rabbits, being used for the development of a serum to reverse the the effects of hunger poison, have escaped and are running throughout the city. The are eating everything due to an unintended side effect that causes hyperphagia, or extreme eating. As such, they have eaten their way out of their cages and are tearing the city apart. These rabbits are not constricted to eating their regular diet and will eat flesh, wood, and even metal.
Participants: Anyone who wants to make a few crowns.
When: 7:15 pm (-6:00 GMT) October 6th
Where: Surna
Reward (if any):One crown per live captured rabbit, two shillings for a dead rabbit. There are a total of twenty-two escaped rabbits to be captured. | |
