- Spoiler:
Armor On
- Quote :
- Basic Information:
Gender: Male Age: 26 Looks as if he was twenty-three. Race: Aasimar Languages: Common, Sidan, and Arushiya Birthplace: N/A Occupation: Hired Guard Deity: Tyr Hair Color: Silverish-white Hair Style: Short Eye Color: Pale Gold Skin Tone: Pale Height: 6ft11 Weight: 225lbs (No Armor) Body Type: Very Muscular, Mesomorph
- Quote :
- Appearance: Octavian has a very pale skintone and silver hair. His beard is well kept. His eyes are a color of pale gold seeming almost translucent. Octavian is seven foot two and muscular. He has a halo above his head due to him being an Aasimar of pure decent. He normally wears a large helmet during battle to conceal it. His helmet conceals his face to the point where you would only see the glow of his pale golden eyes. His armor is made of steel and gilded in copper. His plate-body has the Tiwaz engraved into it showing his devotion of Tyr in battle. When in or out of battle he wears a red cape in order to hide his wings under after he "collapses" them. His gloves are steel plated to protect his hands during battle. His wields a steel great-sword which is blessed. The sheath to put the great-sword in is made of a durable material and it's quite large. The sheath itself is slung atop his cape for easy access. Overall Octavian is a very intimidating person to his foes due to his stature and strength.
- Quote :
- Personality: Octavian is a generally overall benevolent being. He places little importance on time and is notorious for showing up late depending on whether he has been paid beforehand or not. He enjoys waiting for the perfect time to strike. He heals the sick and wounded free of charge out of pure generosity and prays two to three times a day. Octavian lives by a strict set of moral codes that he was grown up on. He does not drink alcohol due to the pure fact that it will cloud his mind. He also does not eat meat out of kind regards for living things. He believes that men should only worship any of the three gods he considers 'true gods' (Aten, Ilmatyr and Tyr). He is highly xenophobic and extremely hostile against anything of demonic/dark nature. He is not afraid to strike down any who challenges his belief in Tyr or publicly worships what he considers 'false gods'. He is extremely calm and hard to anger unless provoked.

- Abilities:
Vitamancy: Octavian was taught Vitamancy by his father when he was in his early teens, he has been using it ever since.
- Spoiler:
Vitamancy Spells:
Soothing Wave:The caster's hands cleanse the blood inside of a particular ally, easing blood pressure by carefully guiding it through the body's swiftest paths, and fortifying the body's healing processes.
Weave of Flesh-Mending:Careful signing draws the flesh to close, either by reviving torn flesh or quickly accelerating the underlying layers of skin to draw wounds shut. Deeper wounds require longer channeling of the spell.
Glyph of Warding:The mage spreads his feathering magic throughout the area, forming protective wards over physical beings in the area, causing them to resist hostile spells to an extent.
Mage Light:The caster creates a medium size orb, it emits artificial light around a medium radius above the caster's head staying in place for three to five minutes.
Cipher of Progeny:Using base magical power attuned to creation-based spells, the caster projects a bright-glowing nimbus towards the target. This essence will immediately undo damage caused by hostile energies, magical or no, after the target receives them. This does not prevent pain, or heal wounds caused by physical strikes. The nimbus slowly deteriorates to nothing over time and use.
Swordsmanship: Octavian's weapon of choice and the only weapon he uses in combat is his great-sword. He has became accustomed to it over the many years of defending his caravan from ongoing attacks. He is quite skilled in using it, he does large swings for devastating blows and will only back away when preparing himself for a charge to do a more powerful strike. He swings the great-sword with ease due to his great strength, no normal man would be able to wield such a sword as his due to it's overall weight and size. His great-sword is known for damaging armor.
Decreased Stamina: Octavian himself being a very large person with very heavy armor he can only run for short amounts of time.
Holy Aura: His aura is powerful enough to be visible to the untrained eye, though with some effort he is able to diminish it for a temporary amount of time. When he is in a conflicting aura such as a demonic aura he is known to get anywhere from small headaches migraines depending on the intensity of the aura itself. When in the vicinity of a demonic aura for elongated amounts of time he is known to address the matter at hand and politely ask them to leave. If the person does not he will use force.
Increased Toughness and Endurance,: Octavian can heal very well in the sunlight but at night it will take significantly longer. In combat he is known to take much damage and being still able fighting on. He is also known to be very resistant to many diseases and poisons.
Wings: Being a very pure Aasimar he has wings that are feathered and allow him to fly for shorts amount of time. He uses them in battle to literally gain an overhead advantage over his enemy.
Decreased Nightvision: Octavian, being an Aasimar has and one of pure decent he has extremely decreased nightvision. At night he sees things distorted and his field of view is greatly hindered, even in artificial light he has a troublesome time seeing most objects at a short to medium distance.
Biography: Early Life Octavian was born in an unknown area while his caravan was traveling about. His father being a priest was well known for his feats in Vitamancy. His mother mainly cared for him when he was young. He has one sibling being a sister which is a little younger then he is. His father set her off with Octavian's mother and Octavian was to be at his father's side at all times and was to be trained in becoming a warrior of his caravan. When he was no younger then the age of five Octavian would scavenge about bringing many things back to his caravan useful or not. His father would praise him for helping in any way possible and attending anyways possible in acts worshiping of Tyr. It was those years when Octavian's morals were set into his soul and mind. It was in his early teenage years Octavian's Aasimar physical traits began to kick in. He taught himself how to fly with his at first rather weak wings which strengthened over the years. He was given a rather low quality great-sword to wield and practice with around the age of 11. He was taught the ways of combat which such a weapon and became accustomed with it. At the age of 13 he was given armor by the caravan's blacksmith and his father began teaching him Vitamancy and weaving in general on a daily basis. When his caravan goes from place to place he would pick up all the different languages that the traders speak to his father for example; Sidan and Arushiya. Over the next few years he would fend off his caravan from attackers while healing the sick and wounded when going into towns to do trade. Adult LifeOctavian now at the age of eighteen and is now a man, he has a iron armor with the crest of his caravan on the chest-plate. He stands closely at his father's side in meetings. He is now skilled with the great-sword and has already ranked up in the caste system to Warrior at such a young age. After his daily worship he heads off into the town to do trade, little does his father know he has been taking side jobs as a bodyguard aswell. The bodyguard side-job first started when a well known inside the town that his caravan trades with needed an escort. Octavian accepted the task with very little pay and enjoyed fending off the attackers upon the traveling merchant's stall. When upon return his father found out and was at first very worried about him doing such things. Shortly after an elongated argument that same day Octavian reminded his father that he is a warrior. Octavian's father reminded him that he should not leave the caravan for such long amounts of time. After that Octavian would not leave the caravan until told to do so over the years his father becoming more and more strict on the daily services to Tyr and praying. After such a long time of fending his caravan he was rewarded with a blessed steel great-sword and a full set of steel armor that's trimmed with a Tiwaz engraved onto the chest-plate soon after getting rid of his old battered heavy iron armor. Octavian grew tired of the sourness and strictness of his father and by the age of twenty-two he decided he would no longer put up with this and set out on his own path. Current Time After traveling such a long time remaining on the outskirts of cities Octavian barely ever being seen and often mistaken for an angel of some sorts he began bartering with many merchants over time and eventually hears about Surna and how quiet and calm it is. Now at the age of twenty-six he plans to settle down and continue his bodyguard service. He also plans on continuing his healing services for small fees to uphold the necessities. - Quote :

Who told you that? Wikipedia Man? At the time he was thinking about going to Surna it was religiously diverse but of course mainly worshiping Tyr, and it was before the whole blight incident and crazyness. So yeah at the time he was told about it, it was lol

| Grammatics aside, most of this seems reasonable. A simple blessed weapon probably isn't terribly uncommon, particularly with the devout Aasimar people. I helped work out those spells for you, just make sure you weave and roleplay the casting properly and it should be fine. I would mention one or two things though. As long as no one else brings any conflicts I don't know about to light, that all is fine.
A few things that might need to be noticed are: -Protein is needed for big boy muscles, Aasimar probably need it, being naturally big people. You're probably going to need a lot of peanuts to get there; or, maybe Aasimar have magic protein biology. -The Aasimar aren't particularly combative, but in Aeria it seems certain societies would push focus on learning your life skills earlier than others, some more modern and others more archaic. The age you suggests would probably work for a somewhat archaic people who don't rely too heavily on combat. No more than necessary. -Keep in mind, while swords can work to tear into and damage the weaker areas of armor, it's pretty much impossible to rupture a solid plate with a sword stroke. Just wanted to mention that. Can still damage armor, just wanted to make a point, and ensure you'd see it.
All in all, pretty good Aasimar. I'm pretty happy with this.

All in all, pretty good Aasimar. I'm pretty happy with this. About the whole grammatical stuff, that is like the 4th and final try doing that app you know about how many times I've had to re-do it lol. I finished it at like 10:30 last night. About the protein there's tons of other things with protein in it besides peanuts; we have spinach, soy, sunflower seeds, kidney beans ect. But I see what you're saying. And I figured this would also contribute Quoted from the actual race section -- Aasimar are naturally resilient and bulky beings, their muscles developing much easier and naturally with little effort. About the sword rupturing armor, I get your point on that I'm just saying it's a large steel sword held by a very strong person. But yeah maybe weaker armor but stronger armor I could definitely see it taking longer. -Glad to have your approval dom
