Backstory

The son of an actor, whose father before him was an actor, and his father before him, and his father before him in the grandiose township of Surna. William comes from a long line of actors whose joy in life was entertaining and breaking the mundane ramblings of tavern-goers and passersby, with the art of the theatre. Packing playhouses and making a pretty penny on the streets performing various acts of intrigue.

Barnum Family Plate A steel plate embedded with silver purchased by William's paranoid great-uncle who suffered from schizophrenia, then passed to his brother after his suicide. Then passed down to his son, and then to William. It is enchanted to reduce the force of projectiles. Saved his life from Elizabeth Celánduil's pistol after his staged robbery of one Alaria Crassus.
Currency To buy things with.
Clothing To clothe himself in.
Pocket-watch To tell the time. And look sophisticated.

Alright, now:
...this looks alright, within reason, and rather humorous. Though I'd like to say I want to see him RP first to ensure that there isn't any horseshittery anywhere, this seems entirely within reason. My only question would be what his living conditions/average income is like; though, as an actor and not world famous, probably not fantastic, merely something to satisfy my curiousity. Seems reasonable, and has my approval.

Just a small caveat; enchanted or no, at point blank range a pistol would probably cut through that plate of his. How protective is it? Just interested.

Well, it's usually paired with a leather bag of red dye, which would take a lot of the force of the shot, then the plate makes certain that it doesn't actually hit him.
