The message has been received. Ser Barton Freidhold's victory, even in death. The invisible siege broken, the message has been received, the Crown informed. There is much stirring in New Imperia today, fast running messengers departing with documents marked with the Crown's seal, sent to almost every city in Sanctimonia. They arrive carrying orders of new Royal Edicts - commands from the Crown to regional Watch authorities to immediately seize all Imperial Trade assets within the nation, beginning an embargo designed to punish Imperial Trade for their part in the Maalik Hegemony, and their secret support of Vladislav Radimir. A message has been sent to the Chief Executive of Imperial Trade in Pycheko, informing them that the embargo will end following the removal of support for the wanted murderer Marcus Olm, as well as warning them that hostile actions by their mercenaries will lead to Sanctimonia treating high ranking Trade officials as enemies of the state. A message has also been sent to Pycheko, warning them of possible Blighted influence in Imperial Trade's ranks.
Meanwhile, on the roads of Sanctimonia, a different type of travel stirs. The Knights Concordic depart, sixty Knights led by two Knight Lords, and accompanied by the Knight Premier himself, Adair Judoc Perrick, the blessed Lucium blade Judicature in his right hand, the Dawnsteel mace Ascendancy in his left. They ride, each on finely bred steeds, with only one goal in mind - the old and weathered 'Jewel' of the old empire, Surna, Catalyst of Fates. Vladislav Radimir and, indeed, all that do evil are within their sights.

"And so the sun dawns this day; this is as always, great darkness falling before the coming light. This is why I fight."
Those whom were closest and most trusted to Barton Thule Friedhold will never forget him, and will write his epitaph in the blood of his enemies. Word of his exploits and great deeds have been rushed through to the chantries and churches of the Pact and to the streets where commoners were heeded. Though each man helming the story may tell it differently, each portrays it in a way that is soft on the ears of the people. They depict a man, like any other, putting everything he has on the line to defend what was good in the world, even if it meant leaving his family behind. This man, seeming almost the antithesis of the vilified prophet, stands as the resounding image of the Irregulars, whom now plant their banners not only at the Surnan gates, but in the streets, with regular watches helmed by their ranks. The memory of Barton will not be dragged through the mud, his passing marks something that he himself would be proud of. Good, fair hearted men and women, whom will fight tooth and nail for all they hold dear. The Irregulars move through to inspire the soldiers, the watch, the common people, to hold true to their hearts and fight the enemy on all fronts.

The Imperial Trade private military company would begin to head back in bulk from the embargo, but many of the forces would stay at the individual warehouses and regional commands owned by Imperial Trade to prevent looters and other unwantables. Through the embargo on Imperial Trade, trade routes between Pycheko and Occitan would begin to be vacant through the severed connection of Imperial Trade. This would greatly hinder the Sanctimonian, Pychekan, and the Occitanian economy but effect Sanctimonia the most for now.
Imperial Trade also adds that it denies the involvement of a Blight Caster in their ranks, especially the accusation of Vladislav Radimir being such a Blight Mage. Vladislav is a proud member of the few selected to be a Pychekan Commisariat, who are officers designed to hunt and eliminate such unwantables in the society of man and would not be able to fall to such a parasite in the Surnan region. Such an accusation dishonors the Pychekan Commisariat and the prestigious House Radimir, who currently lead Imperial Trade.
However, Imperial Trade pleads with Sanctimonia to release the goods seized by the Crown. Multiple diplomats acting on behlaf of Imperial Trade venture to New Imperia in an attempt to resolve this embargo. They also admit to establishing trade lines in Maalik and aiding the tiefling Marcus Olm, but remind the Sanctimonian Throne that they are neutral and only seek to increase Imperial Trade's influence around Aeria.

The Knights have arrived. Met at the gates by an official military reception, Cephas Hasimir hands over the burden of absolute power to Knight Premier Perrick - relieved to have been relieved of his grim and harsh task. With his first act as acting Governor of Surna, the Premier lifts the state of Martial Law from Surna's streets, ending the tense state of affairs that have gripped her streets for several weeks now. And yet, even with the decreased security, Surna is perhaps more shielded from danger than it has been in many years. For now sixty-seven Knights stride Surna's streets - sixty Knight Beholders, led in groups of fifteen under four Knight Lieutenants, who themselves answer to two Knight Lords - all under the command of the venerable Knight Premier. If Barton Freidhold was adept in the destruction of evil as a Knight Lieutenant, then surely the company which now hunts the evils which plague Surna is a fearful and mighty power. For something more than just the eyes of men drives the Knights onward - some say that the Archangel Zerachiel, sometimes called 'Pervandr', who is said to have gifted Alyssa with the Ardent blades, guides the hand and eyes of the Premier. For whatever these tales are worth, the Knights move forward with conviction - as if they hear whispers from above.

After the long embargo forced onto Imperial Trade by the Sanctimonian Throne, Imperial Trade has returned to the nation that outcasted them as villains with all of their former assets restored to their charter. It takes only mere days to set up the trade routes that were lost from the embargo. As the trade begins to flow into Sanctimonia at a steady and constant pace, more and more attacks have been reported to local authorities in villages and towns all around Sanctimonia. Word has only spread from what few survivors that they were attacks from fair elvenesque figures riding a bright fiery creature that resembled an eagle. Hundreds are claimed deceased within weeks, their bodies and goods burned throughout the roads of Sanctimonia.
There is also word of the denoucement of Vladislav Radimir by Imperial Trade and has removed him as the heir to the company as well as stripping him of any and all assets he owned within the large trading company.

[INCOMING...]
REVELATION by way of DREAM-SEED
Enscorcellment : ARDENCY
[WARNING] : Improper or unlawful interception of this message by way of DIVINATION or TAINTED ARTS shall result in immediate CORPOREAL TERMINATION by way of IMMOLATION.
Authority : PERVANDR
Message Begins...
{Confidence} {Victory} {Faith}
Greetings, glories, and wisdoms to the most high Defender of the Faith, your long-reigning majesty King Deleric II. I bring news of a most disturbing nature.
FIRST : Royal Authority has been transgressed. Conspirators have struck down both our brother-in-arms, Ser Thule Freidhold, and SLAYER-SPAWN. The streets stink of deception. Many have secrets to hide. PERVANDR concurs - there is a darkness. Not is all as it seems.
SECOND : The GOD-SLAYER has returned. He has made contact, and has declared he seeks the death of Olm. By unknown means, he has risen the deceased SLAYER-SPAWN to fight at his side. PERVANDR confirms - this is not by divine action. The GOD-SLAYER acts as his own agent. His blood-feud against Olm suggests that Olm had a hand in the assassinations. The GOD-SLAYER is yet an unknown, and thus must be watched - but he may yet act as a solution to the problems in the south.
THIRD :GOD-SLAYER brings unconfirmed news of possible ARDENT-LEVEL divine ENEMY-OF-STATE threat in the south - that Olm intends to facilitate the construction of a TAINTED SPIRE posthaste. Furthermore - GOD-SLAYER states internal strife has ended in the enslavement of Rashid. Claims also the return of NEZZEM, divine-figure not seen since the Wars. Recommend : Immediate dispatch of Oculus Infinitum agents to Maalik; verify TAINTED SPIRE; verify NEZZEM; verify/intercede internal strife.
FOURTH : Confirmation of Blight-Caster activity. Multiple infected - one terminated, BLIGHTED LYCAN. One lost. PERVANDR judges - The Twice-Born is of minimal danger to Surna - Knights not to intervene. However, disturbing possibility - evidence of prayer-termination by outside source. His affliction was unknown to us, and now, unfortunately, he is beyond our saving. Locals seeking alternative cure. RECOMMEND - personal visit by the Knight Premier to mend relations.
FIFTH and MOST URGENT : Evidence uncovered of a possible conspiracy linking back to THE BLACK NIGHTS. Possible third-party involvement with designs inimical yet contrary to Blight-Caster activity. Documents uncovered reveal ENEMY and SHARITE Vorn Tyrr active. PERVANDR concurs - Tyrr and allies represent possible EXTRA-TEMPORAL threat to the Crown and Man-kind itself. Evidence reveals likely temporal transgression by Dver Architects, hunted by Tyrr. Difficult to discern. RECOMMEND - probing all sources and diplomatic links for information on Tyrr.
SIXTH : Possible divine or semi-divine agent at work in Surna. Believed to be unaffiliated with any divine ENEMY-OF-STATE or current hostile faction in the Kingdom. Several allies discovered to be TAMPERED - certain age-old restrictions unlocked. PERVANDR COMMANDS - the Knights shall closely observe the following - Aedelric Adahn-Wildercress; Selena Adahn-Wildercress; Elizabeth Celanduil; Johnny Hunter; Simon Troph.
CONCLUSION : The Blight-Caster, though excessively worrisome, is not the greatest threat to the Crown. However, immediate military action is not recommended. Such action may drive the few leads remaining underground. For the moment, the Knights shall act against the existing threats, as to appear to all unaware of the true danger. We shall leave immediate action to Barton Thule's Irregulars, who, though disorderly and inexperienced as a group, show promise. Most importantly, they have a far lighter footprint.
- Perrick

The Empire of Sarkun
The newly formed Empire of Sarkun prepares for war against the imperialistic aggressors that have been longing to destroy the jungle nation through various arts of bullying including murder of innocents, burning of cities, and wrongfully entering the nation. This undermining of the Emperor and Council's rule cannot be overlooked any longer and have been deemed sworn rivals of the Sarkun Empire and all of its allies. Though negotiations are still in order, the Emperor and the Council under him have given the order to mobilize to properly defend the homeland they were sworn to protect with their very lives. It is this duty that even the Emperor himself claims that he will fight along side his soldiers to ensure the safety of those who entrusted him with the position of Emperor.
This sacrifice is not unknown to the people of the Empire, both the Maalikians and the Impo'si Empire have seen their fair share of death and destruction and will not stand to see it happen to them again in what they claim to be the last place for magic, freedom, and justice - the very ideals that most will give their lives to protect and uphold. With this motivation from the even lowest of serfs to the highest of nobles that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Offense work together so that the Empire may thrive past these troubling times of oppression and tyranny against the Sarkun people.
As Emperor and Protector of the Sarkun Empire, Marcus Olm spreads the word of war and a state of emergency among the population. Though the war will be costly for all sides of the conflict, Olm believes that victory will come to Sarkun. In these speeches, Olm publicly denounces the gods themselves, claiming that they absent in Sarkun's time of need and would rather watch the Empire's people die as they stood silent when the Dominion burned entire cities without the justice Aten and Tyr say to uphold. He condemns the acts of Nazzem, continuing his claim of the gods unquenchable desire for mortal slaves. Olm reminds the people that he broke the physical chains of his people, and now will finish by breaking the spiritual chains that have bound mortals since their creation. It is from this distrust and hatred of the gods that he says that his people should abandon them and entrust in themselves and in Marcus to break these chains of oppression.
