The application is presented by a dark haired young man calling himself Tobias Markan. He explains he began traveling after family troubles drove him from home. He is of a light complexion and an average build, with his facial features suggesting common Sanctimonian ancestry.
When questioned regarding the raw skin about his wrists, he claims to have been captured and held for ransom by bandits, who ambushed him on the road. Saying that he later engineered his escape, becoming lost in the forest lands until stumbling upon Surna a day later.
"Why do I want to join The Watch? Well. I was kidnapped and robbed by bandits. Then when I finally make it back to civilization, and sit back to think about my situation, someone throws a bomb at me. I can take a hint."
