History
Quote :
Soter, a planet ravaged by a nuclear war. Forty years ago, the planet was a series of nations, one representing one power, another representing the other, and the rest falling within an array of allied territories and political ideologies. Finally the tensions between the two main factions boiled with the launching of an all out nuclear strike against everyone. The planet responded en force, with hundreds of nuclear devices piercing cities and decimating millions. Only the Fortress Cities managed to survive the war due to their laser defense systems. The rest of the planet is left in an irradiated waste, its oceans black with soot, radiation and all manner of death. Out of the Ashes, only the Fortress Cities emerged unscathed. After years of problems, finally, Fortress City One, managed to rally all the other powers together under one banner, The Republic of Soter.

Marauder Armor : The Marauder Armor (Marauder Suit) is the basic Power Armor used by the Mobile Infantry. Each armored suit is customized to fit each individual. The Armor is designed to give a trooper many times more strength, to let them jump over buildings at ease, and to deflect enemy fire.

Now for the serious part

I'm sorry, what? Nukes can apparently set a nation into bankruptcy, and your vessel is boasting a bunch of them? No.

For a second there, I almost thought that was plural. Wait, it is. MAC Cannons are massive and extremely powerful weapons, and you're planning on having multiples of them, on a battle-cruiser? Maybe a dreadnought, but certainly not a smaller vessel.

Yeah, Terraforming is tier 3 technology. From a planet that was ravaged by war and is just beginning to explore the cosmos, pretty sure that ain't happening.

Spoiler:
Ditto.
Despite just being completely copied, this nation is OP. I would hope that despite Gambit's enjoyment of the Judge Dredd series, he would be able to not give a biased response and allow a OP nation to be part of this rp just because it involves a series he enjoys.

Okay, time to nit-pick.
Popular Issues: Colonization, Expansion, Food Supplies, Terraforming
Terraforming isn't a level one thing, I'm not sure if you're saying that people are debating researching terraforming now, but you probably want to put that off for a while, since terraforming is a strong ability that will come in handy later in your empire's roleplay.
Strength: Tough. This means you have a strong economy, very strong. Most other nations started out with a military force at Moderate or Adequate. Now for your actual military. The first battlecruiser you listed has strong weapons, loaded with a MAC, nukes, lasers, and HE Cannons. This is all fine and dandy sure, but then you have strong armor, shields, and a great generator. Let me point out that firing all of this will drain your ships power fast, especially if you're getting hammered on the shields. I'm not exactly sure how this sits with everyone else, but it kind of looks like this thing is a super tanker that if someone pisses you off they don't stand a chance, at all.
Aaaaaand, for the elephant in the room. It's Judge Dredd. Plain and simple, this is Judge Dredd brought into the roleplay and given a bunch of ships. You used the same name, planetary information, and even the same system of government. I do believe we had an issue with people bringing stuff that's nearly word for word in terms of empires, and it didn't bode well with people. I consider revising it for the time being, probably want to change some things.

Judge Dredd I don't have an issue with.
Copying it blatantly and using it in RP I have an issue with. Also that ship is OP as fuck.

Probably not, but it was just referenced as a no no on the previous tech thread. Guess you're right, plenty of ways to counter it.
