Tomorrow marks the start of the annual "Festival of the Blessed Maiden", a celebration of the birth of one of Sanctimonia's most revered heroes, Alyssa Munroe. Famed for her role in the destruction of the Black Tower, this festival celebrates her birth.

Senior Cleric Antonius Cald will formally open the celebration, with a military procession and symbolic meeting of blades. Returning is the Leyanara Comedy Troupe, who will host all of the many public games and activities, including food stands, games of chance and skill, and their customary raffle prizes. On Saturday, Cleric Cald will hold a traditional sermon detailing Alyssa Munroe's life, faith, and accomplishments. On Sunday, the festivities will close with dozens of feasts, all across the city, both public and private. Popular tavern and historical landmark "The Crook and Horns" will be holding a public feast at drastically reduced prices. For the entire weekend, newly appointed Watch Commander Volten Ogoni will be leading security efforts, backed by the very best of the Watch. People should not be afraid to take to the streets and celebrate.
