Benjamin Adam Mask was born on a perfect crescent moon, during a rainy night somewhere within the wilds of Brython. His parents are unknown with no records of Benjamin's coming. Due to this he lived primarily on his own, living off of berries, and small game lest he came of the age 15, which he ventured into the City of Ayleshire. Clothed with only an extremely small fur coat for his age, he gained recognition for his selling of excess meat and fur he had acquired during his time alone. This recognition got him a place at the side of a blacksmith in Ayleshire, whom of which would be the catalyst for Mask's journey to knighthood. Benjamin worked there for 2 years, forging weaponry, armor, and most importantly himself. It was during these 2 years that Mask took shape, a semi-broad shouldered male with muscles that did not truly represent his trade, his swordsmanship shining more brightly than ever, as he tested each blades weight and sturdiness. But his personality, was the sharpest of anything forged, the blacksmith he served under had crafted Ben's personality into one of the most dedicated, respectable, and noble of all common folk, lest he get the lash for otherwise mistreating those around him. At the age of 17, Mask took the eye of a Knight, one looking for a squire to serve him faithfully. The knight was one of the royal Greyson-Courtenay family. The Knight took Ben as his squire, honing his skill with the blade, and teaching him morals and how to respect ones god. Yet, the god the Knight spoke of was not one he wished to follow. Mask had been studying the stars and the moon for as long as he was alive, it fascinated him to no end, the only inanimate object around him that grew every day, and disappeared from the sky, only to be reborn and grow to its full size again, then slowly dying away once more. He studied of Selas, the goddess of the moon, and he was enticed. He began to dwell upon Selas, and pray to her, against his Masters wishes. Yet unknown to the Knight in question, was Benjamin's plan to run away from him and seek life anew as a knight himself, without taking the vows or passing any of the examinations. He would do this, with the help of the Blacksmith that made him who he was. The Blacksmith and Mask forged in the middle of the night, only under full moons, and crafted the armor he currently wears and the weapon he wields. It took 2 years for this to be accomplished, but as soon as it was, Mask stood against his Master,after a heated argument over Tyr and Selas, and struck him down, injuring him greatly. Unknown to Mask, he had just struck a royal knight, branding him a traitor to the Brython people. He ran. He ran the fastest he had ever ran before, his tailcoat being the only thing visible to any witnesses under the moonlight. He stowed himself away, on a boat, one picked at random. This boat would make a one year voyage across the world, before settling in Sanctimonia, where he set foot, and began wandering aimlessly. He only recently began to settle in a town, a town known as Surna, where he currently dwells and is looking for work, either as a guard of the most strange background, a mercenary, or as himself, a Knight of Selas.

]Benjamins fighting style, and how he adopted it, is a story in itself, and deserves its own section. It starts when he was young, living alone in the wilderness, wielding whatever sharpened stick he could find to hunt game with, he found that when he would be rash and direct with his attacks, that the prey would clop away, but when he was subtle with his movements, and less direct with the attack, the prey wouldn't suffer from enough of an injury to hinder it, due to both the force behind it, and probably the weapon itself. So he tried mixing the two, in an agile but strong hitting form of fighting, he used his environment to his advantage, whether it be by climbing into tree's and falling down on to idle prey, or by simple causing a distraction in one area to draw its attention. This form carried over to his Squire days, where he practiced with various swords, of different curvatures and sizes. He settled on a Crescent shaped blade, one of poor quality at that, as it represented his deity and not his Masters. The blade, and the form, flew together perfectly, the blades shape could be used to hook along things, allowing for extra mobility, yet remained a deadly weapon, capable of great injuries. He practiced this form for awhile, both with the mobility and without. His strikes were ones of speed and accuracy, along with strength of course. The swings would each follow up for the next one, allowing the next swing to be more fluid, and dynamic, allowing for him to chain his swings together in the most beautiful of ways. This, combined with his agile form of combat, would be the main form of combat for Benjamin, which has treated him well, thus far.
