| - Gear:
Note: This is not the looks of this character, but mainly just the gear. - Quote :
- Full Name: Rak'Thorr Ssha'Virre
Nickname(s): Rak, Old Shaman Gender: Male Age: 89 Race: Aranek Sub-Specie: The Ssazar Languages: Common (rather hard to understand), Aranek Primative - Rak has a grasp of the Common language, but he does struggle with pronunciation and some contexts with the language. Birthplace: Sarkun Jungles - Rak's egg was found in a small Aranek village by the name of Slavoth. Occupation: Hermit/Shaman - Rak'Thorr does not like any real contact with anyone. He just sticks to his hut, brews potions and studies magic. - Quote :
- Scale Color: Really dark blue, looks more like a black.
Eye Color: Dark Red Height: 5'9 Weight: Roughly 200-250 lbs Body Type: Slightly muscular with some extra beef - Rak has a more swimmer-like body to him. He has muscles, but fat does exceed around the muscles. Physical Quirks: Nice detailed scars along some regions of his skin. Most of the time he has body paint with weird symbols, most likely Aranek. He has a very war-torn figure, some talons maybe chipped. His palms do look burnt, possibly due to a spell error. - Quote :
- Alignment: Neutral
Deity: Shamanism/Animalism - Nature Worship Favored Enemy: N/A Favored Weapon: Two-Handed Maces - Personality:
Personality: Rak takes time in his work; he is patient in a way. He spends his time day-in and day-out working with Alchemy and studying with magic. Rak pushes for something he wants, but at a gradual and steady pace. It seems almost that he could spend his entire lifetime devoted on learning one thing to its fullest. Although, he does indeed love to multitask. He is consumed by education and his work, if any.
Rak takes things differently than a normal being would as he thinks so. When people anger him he lashes out with a simple comment, not wanting to push a heavy argument which could lead to many different outcomes. Rak, instead likes to observe peoples opinions, although it could be tough because he has a slight problem with understanding different languages. He is neutral and that of course is something he sticks true by.
Rak would rather be anti-social and stand clear of any unwanted attention. He views attention as a form of breaking him from his education in which he always needs more of. He can't stop thinking about how much education can fill his mind. He believes that education comes before anything, even if it means a way to eat. It seems weird, but that is just how he is.
Rak is energized by just the sheer amount of possibilities with the involvement of magic. He mostly enjoys just making potions in general and possibly trying them out. He does not really tamper with illegal material. He does read up on current news and laws that would perhaps be passed. He is more on the path following laws instead of breaking them though.
Rak will never snitch on anyone. You could have the most evil and master diabolical plan, but Rak will no succumb to telling a soul about it. He keeps his conversations with others to himself, never beckoning a word to anyone that wasn't present for the conversation. His main motto would have to be, "What iss goess musst sstay with thiss conversssation." Rak will literally die before he will snitch.
Rak'Thorr always has a peculiar look upon his face. Maybe he is just awkward in his own way, or maybe it is because he always is cautious of the things around him. His looks most obviously will seem weird to some people, but he just carries it with a simple smile as if he wouldn't care for anyone's opinion.
Even in dark times Rak'Thorr will always stand up for what is right in his mind. He will not choose sides and he most likely will not betray friends. He will simple dance to his own tune, trying to seem as easily him as possible. He would never want to act like something he is not and even if he did he would feel horrible about what act he was committing.
- Skills:
- Alchemy
Rak has become profound in the arts of Alchemy, throughout his years of experimenting, tribal worship and practice. Rak easily can create potions for his own personal use, or for others around him, after collecting the right natural extracts from plants, animals and the nature that surrounds him.
- Shamanism Rak is able to act as a middle-line between the natural and supernatural world. His spiritual rituals allow him to cure illnesses of both the cursed and merely the sick. With more powerful rituals, he can heal-over the wounds of others (after duely being treated) to help the healing process speed up. A person who may not be able to walk for two weeks with a healing wound, may be able to walk in about five days.
Rituals, while they are made for aiding others and being in-touch with the natural world, is also used for defense or aggression. Rituals, prepared in advance can be used for either defense or to attack. Manipulation of the magical forces can happen as well. After a fire as well, in nature, he can help regrow the trees, and natural life.
- Two-Handed Maces
This is really Rak's only savage side to him. He was taught at the stage of adolescence how to wield a weapon of such a mass weight and length. At a young age it was hard, but he learned to cope with it. At an older age he was stripped of his old mace and was taught in the ways of crafting one himself. This is why he has a small grasp of woodworking in his mind.
- Magic Sensitivity
Being one that worships the Vaetirr; Rak'Thorr has quite the sensitive being with magic. It is almost like he can sense it when it is near. This would make his hands grow into fists as it feels like a small jolt through his body. It is like the Vaetirr warn him about what is possibly around himself.

[Rak'Thorr's Tribal Two-Handed Mace] [Rak'Thorr's Tribal Sash] [Rak'Thorr's Bone Pauldron] [Rak'Thorr's Headwrap]
[Thin Leather Pants] - Worn [Thin Leather Shirt] - Worn [Ornate Bracer]x2 [Leather Sandal]x2 [Leather Pack]x1 [Coin Purse] - Biography:
"The Egg" It was then when the chief of the village pointed his boney reptilian finger out towards the depths of the jungle. They had been hunting for a mere six weeks and had caught quite the amount of game. The chief barked at the dozen Aranek behind him. The chiefs garbs were very tribal like. They had scraps of unknown types of leather draping from full pieces of bone necklaces. He had a pauldron in which was crusted with wood and some very few pieces of metal. He was the scary one of the group compared to the others. From the looks of things the chief was the only Arunjai and the rest were a mix of Khesun and Meso. The other Aranek in the group were savage; blood spattered on their body's, entrails of game hanging from their shoulders. It was rather sick to most. As the chief looked around he moved forward, sticking with as much cover as he possibly could.
They were on the prowl for quite sometime until the chief had suddenly lead the group to a stop. He sniffed the air to smell something fishy about the area they were in. They stayed there for a bit longer, then seeing smoke in the air above. They pinpointed the location and made the run into the smoggy field in which would house a small adjacent village to their own. The village was ablaze and no sign of life was nearby. The group quickly went through the village looking for any survivors of some sort.
Crispy burnt bodies were piled around and eggs were literally just smashed against the ground. "What could do this?" They all thought loudly with one another, when finally the conversation broke. One of the Aranek of the group was holding a small egg. It was wrapped in a leather pelt and from the looks of it was dirty. The individuals of the group kept bickering back and forth about the egg. The chief walked up to it, blinking a few short times before holding it in his palm. He contemplated for a moment and then spoke with the Aranek language, which consisted of a few barks and hisses. Finally, he raised the egg in the air and screeched.

| How can I be the first one to review this? How can there not be like ten accepts on here?
I mean, truly, your application was a delight to read; it was quality over quantity the whole way down, every word you threw down you made count. Over the time I spent reading, you worked like Bob Ross, and the rough pieces of information did blend together into a well made painting. Truth be told, I don't really have many things to pick away from in this biography, the only thing I would mention is the two handed mace; I know a good amount of smithRP, and while I know two-handed weapons are not NEARLY as heavy as people perceive them to be, to use a two handed blunt weapon proficiently, wouldn't you need a bit more muscle than a swimmer's body? Keep in mind, I'm not a swimmer, and I only know what I've seen from people who competitively swim in my area, though they have visible muscles, they are very lean; in order to use the mace proficiently, you might need a bit more bulk to yourself than that.
Another thing, I might mention quickly. We all use different sorts of color/quality gauges in our bios pretty much; we have an idea in our head of how our gear works and how well it's supposed to do its job. Purple is a bit of a powerful color, however, I find that it's a fine addition to your character, and considering your other abilities, it's fair. Is the mace made of wood entirely, or is that only one part of it? Distinguishing that in Two-Handed Maces may help people gauge how powerful it is, as it would probably require magic and enchantment for a wooden mace to be of purple quality in an age where metallurgy and physics have evolved into early firearms.
The lore guys may have something or two to say to you, I study the lore pretty well, in hopes of being able to be one of the more advanced lore guys at some point, but I'm still nowhere near as informed as some of the others. I didn't perceive any breaks in canon, but I am unfamiliar with the race, and they do have a particular system for magic and divine worship. As I said, I didn't perceive any errors, but they might.
Truly though, I'm actually quite glad I get to give you your first reply. Really, I look forward to seeing you on the server, good sir.

| This is a fine character page. Just remember, the area around Surna has about level 2 ingredients for brewing with. Anything higher-level must be imported. PM/SF me if you have questions. | |

Seconded, this really is a lovely character page. Also shaman is a very uncommon occurance these days. A+ for effort. I realise it's already accepted but I still want to say well done <3 |

You got me with the swimmer's body. A swimmer wouldn't have enough upper-body strength to actually wield it proficiently. I will bulk him up, considering he started using a mace at a younger age, probably adolescence. As for the components of the mace it is made of a wood frame. The little pieces on the side are made of obsidian rock and tied on there with some sort of hemp rope. I don't know what I should do about the purple though. I was basing it on uniqueness to him. | |

| Coloring items is pointless and means little to nothing. It's not an issue what color an item appears in someone's character page. As long as it can't level buildings in one swing, I think it'll be fine. | |
