Personality: Until recently she was not the romantic type, but she has begun to seek the approval of her lovers over that of the general populace. She has mellowed out significantly since her arrival in town, more focused now with setting up shop and avoiding arrest. Having tasted the sweet nectar Surna offers, Morigen has begun to work on building up her reputation in a good way, both with her dear ones and the possible clients of the area. With each day, she finds her fancies drifting away from the wild and moving to town life. Among her growing lure to her new life is the want to purchase things like fine clothing and armor.
Biography:
Born in the Inferian village on the coast known as Alastrati, named so after Voldath's own son, Morigen was a well mannered child. When she was old enough to walk, she often ran outside to play, just to get scooped up by her father and taken back inside. Morigen also was fond of animals at a young age and often chased the goats around the barn. When she was old enough to speak in complete sentences, at two years of age, she would try to hold conversations with the animals in spite of their silence. Her parents believed she would be well liked amongst her peers, and she was.
By the age when most of her peers were starting their apprenticeships under the family trade, Morigen started showing increased signs of magical aptitude. The first of the signs was that the table salt in the cupboard would solidify into a solid block for no apparent reason. Morigen told her parents she had a dream involving the salt, and that must the reason. Joanna, Morigen's mother, decided then that she would have her daughter taken to the legionnaire's outpost, a mile from the village. During the ride, Morigen got a sick feeling, unsure of what would happen, despite her mother's assurances. Volson, so named in honor of Voldath and father of Morigen, told her not to worry whilst hugging her to his side. The carriage ride was slow and disheveling for Morigen's nerves. Twice on the way she got nerve sick and they had to stop. When they finally arrived, an outpost guard stopped the carriage.
"State your business," he said in a practiced and mild mannered tone.
Joanna spoke up first, her voice filled with jubilee, "Our daughter has shown signs of magic. She dreamed about salt the same night that it melted together."
"Is that her?" He asked, following standard procedure. Joanna nods and Volson squeezes Morigen to him reassuringly. "Get out of the carriage and follow me." The parents start to get up, but get cut off. "Not you, her." Morigen gets panic stricken but complies. The parents hug her goodbye, giving her several kisses on the head. "She will be well looked after."
For Morigen, training started out harsh. She was tested with a variety of weapons to see which she would most likely be assigned. After trying a longsword, which she couldn't even hold up, she was tested with a short sword and buckler. The man testing her shouted several things for her to try, but unsatisfied with her potential, had her moved to the archers.
"Take this one, she is to be either an archer or mage," the man commanded of a smaller, elf man. "I want you to give me results by the end of the week."
"Yessir." The elf man lead her to an archery range. At the weapons rack, which was covered in a variety of bows, longbows, a couple larger crossbows, a short bow or two, and a sling, he grabs a short bow and hands it to Morigen. "Hold this like so." He positions the bow in her hands and guides her through the proper motions for firing a bow until she can do so with an acceptable level of consistency. He grabs an arrow from one of the quivers set on the ground at the edge of the range. "Notch the arrow so the top feather, called the fletching, is pointed up." He notched the arrow for her and lets her attempt to shoot the target twenty yards down the range. She pulls back with all her might and releases. The arrow goes eight yards and skitters across the ground. "Eh, you'll get there."
After her testing her potential with the various weapons, Morigen is sent to the mages. There she is taught literature, history of warfare, military tactics, and of course magic. Her first teachers had her study for five hours a day, and she would have another three to practice her archery, with food and restroom breaks throughout. The majority of the trainees were kept separate, only meeting for practice with formations and group exercises. Her magical ability was about on par with everyone elses, but being far below that of Hansen. Hansen was the shining star amongst the training mages, showing an affinity paralleling that of a rising emporer. Many thought he might become the next Emporer in fact, so high regarded was his ability. This shadow was the one that Morigen was forced to sit under during the whole of her training.
Ten years later, Morigen is now the same rank as the man that watched over her testing. In this time she had been taught how and how not to enchant a weapon temporarily, such as her arrows. Other such things she was taught was how to do is survival skills, how to kill a tiefling, and how to locate demon summoners.
Twenty more years in service to the Legion and Morigen began to bore from the monotony of her militaristic life. She decided to return home to see how her parents had been faring since her departure thirty years ago. When she came to the location where her village was supposed to be she saw nothing. The entire village was a pile of rubble, but more surprising was the giant summoning circle scorched into the ground at the center of her home. When Morigen spots the circle, she drops to her knees in disbelief. The circle had inscriptions for binding a demon within, but it was incomplete. The resulting chaos was apparant by the sheer enormity of the devastation. So, she decides to leave.
Morigen headed back to the outpost she was assigned to, under the cover of night, and snuck into the empty weapons building. While there she grabbed a bow and a hand full of arrows, as well as some gear and a quiver. Immediately after, she heads out of the outpost.
Her life dramatically changed from that point on. She used her skills to become a sellsword, even a bounty hunter at some times. This lasted for twenty years, until she was signed onto a contract that asked her to retrieve a stolen book. As she tracked down the thief through her multiple contacts, she came upon a scene that would mar her soul. The man holding the stolen book she was looking for was her own father. He was standing in an arcane circle, his hands holding an opened grimoire. Another circle was marked before him, a demon standing in the center. The demon turns to Morigen the moment her eyes meet with it. He chuckles in a way that makes her hair stand on end. Upon seeing his daughter though, Vorson panics and breaks the circle, to which the demon immediately uses to his advantage. The demon disappears in an explosion of black flame, which engulfs Vorson whole. Morigen covers her face out of reflex, but when she lowers her guard, all that is left is a black grimoire and several clothing items. Her father had been pulled back to the realm of the demon. She once again fell to her knees, this time completely broken. She took the book and left the clothing. Upon returning to the man that had hired her, she put a single arrow into his chest and tossed the book into the fire. She then proceeded to burn down the rest of the house.
On her way out of town, she came across a shop. The building was rather nondescript, but she got curious and stepped inside to check it out. To her amazement, there were several incomplete miniature models of siege engines. There was a safe left slightly ajar against the wall with what appeared to be plans for a siege engine inside. Also within the safe was a cordonium gem, about the size of her thumbnail. She picked it up and looked at the plans, then back to it. It was perfectly clear, and colorless. She slipped it into her coinpurse and put the schematics back, then shut the safe and left. At this point she was rather pleased with herself.
Using her contacts from being a sellsword, Morigen found a ship to take her from the island, wanting to leave this place she had come to despise. The boat ride took her Occitan, which she knew nothing about and soon came to dislike due to all the yelling and cursing in another language that tended to follow in her wake. With what money she had, she got a ride away from Occitan.
At this point she started to take contracts that nobody else would touch, such as kidnapping and murder. She became acquainted with several bandits and even a particularly sadistic and twisted vampiress, whom paid her to bring children to feed from. Morigen earned a nickname for her willingness to do anything, Morigen the Merciless. She even had a few rumors started by her acquaintances to boost her popularity in the sellsword market. One of these was that she could kill a man fro two hundred yards. This was of course false, but it got her several contracts. She continued to work the market of the sellsword for fifty-three years.
At this point, Morigen was tired of helping the ruthless scum of Sanctimonia do their evil deeds. She left for the wilderness, becoming a hunter by trade. One thing that she did not give up, however, was her connections with fences. She took to this trade with fascination, as she enjoyed making a profit from stuff she did not own. She made more contacts over the course of the next thirty years, wandering around Sanctimonia as a hunter, but trading stolen goods on the side as a source of comfortable income.

Steals a cordonium stone from a building with experimental tech.
Leaves her home island for Occitan.
Leaves Occitan for Sanctimonia.
Becomes a sellsword in Sanctimonia under the nickname Morigen the Merciless.
Archery - A hunter by trade, Morigen is capable of hitting a stationary buck with a lethal shot four out of five times at fifty yards. Her ability drops down to two out of five with a moving target, assuming wind speed and obstacles are negligible. She trained in the Legion many years ago, prior to the age ofShe is an expert archer.
Knife combat - She has no instruction with a knife, but can handle one well enough to not cut herself accidentally if she is required to use it as a weapon instead of a tool. She is an amateur knife wielder.
Enhanced Arrows - By casting a spell into the arrow as she looses it, it becomes stronger, meaning it will not shatter on impact and will be more likely to punch through armor. This effect is passive and does not need to be woven into the arrows beforehand, however only she can use the effect on her arrows. She is an amateur arrow enhancer.
Imbued Arrows - In the same manner that she can use Enhanced Arrows, she can imbue an arrow with any spell she knows assuming she knows one. This action takes time unlike the aforementioned skill, and requires her to weave a spell into the arrow before she can shoot it. She is a novice at arrow imbuing.
Demonology - Morigen was taught how to combat demons and other dark creatures as part of her training with the Legion. Her knowledge is vast but sometimes unreliable. She is an adept on demonology.
Hunter's Sight - Morigen can see subtle movements in the distance, and even in the shadows, provided they are natural shadows. She is an amateur with this ability.
Shadow Light - Learned from her book with all her family lineage and history, Morigen has quickly picked up the patterns and incantation for the spell. Not at all difficult with the context clues from the book, she has learned the spell quite readily. She is an expert with this spell.

Sold the knife, bought a beer, and used two arrows. Added the personality.

Unusual name for an Occitanian. Any particular reason for that? :O What a lovely format :3

Very odd to find Drow in Occitan, even after the fall of the Kaiser's regime.

And you should also consider which nation-state in Occitan they've come from, considering this can change your accent and in some of the regions your attitude towards outsiders of Occitan, amongst other things.

I added a full Bio and a TL;DR for the lazy people. I also added some skills such as enhanced arrow and imbued arrow. They are both based off the D&D skills and have been balanced, but can always be changed. She runs a business fencing goods and selling her own skins which provides her with regular income.

prestigeclassmuch
but in all honesty, it seems you did honestly try to balance out the abilities, so I won't make a big fuss over basing your skills on a prestige. I'll slowly get through all of this in time, but first:
"Demonology - Morigen was taught how to combat demons and other dark creatures as part of her training with the Legion. Her knowledge is vast but sometimes unreliable.
She is an expert on demonology."
I would place "vast but unreliable" under adept, not expert. Expert implies reliability.
The other skills look ok, and not a big deal. Her focus is clearly ranged combat, and I'm glad to see she specializes like that. Your other character, Reis Ti, felt too much like an all-rounder with her original abilities prior to your editing. This one, I feel way more comfortable with.
That said, she is definitely not a 'starting' character and more like an intermediate one. I expect you to play her responsibly. In addition, any dnd-related content you want to base your character on should probably go through me first.
ill check the rest of the profile more closely next time i come around

Righto.
Bits-n-bobs will be taken care of.
Honestly, I try to start out OP so that everyone can chisel out my character to an ideal beginner. I would much rather make a statue from marble that starts out looking like an Adonis than a mud man built up from a twig. It makes my characters more rounded.
And thusly, may the many people draw out their chisels and hammers to tear down the walls of OPpression to secure their freedoms.

This character seems well rounded to me, though the combination of magic and ranged combat only rarely doesn't result in my hesitation; however, you are a solid roleplayer, and the magic seems balanced, this character is one of the few where I feel safe about someone combining the usage of magic and ranged attack. I like the idea of defensive/supplemental magic and offensive ranging; one relies on the other, the two have to work in a congruent fashion if both are to be used, and one is stronger than the other. I would ask though, how many arrows can she imbue before battle? An arrow from a proper longbow can easily punch through chainmail; does she have a shorter bow, and as such need the extra 'oomph' to get the arrow through chainmail/armor?
I am not an expert on the lore, though I have been trying to study (but AP Physics I've been trying to study more-so); you will need to make sure the lore is up to par with those who have commented before; they will definitely be able to help chisel down your character to where she needs to be. = )
The biography was well done, the app seems healthy; I trust her ability to be played well, as you have shown in character. Once the lore details have been ironed out, and perhaps any other unseen issues that my scrublet eyes didn't notice are ironed out; I'll give you an accept.

Drow are an uncommon sight in Inferia, but not unheard of. I don't think they'd be the only race in that village, however, since Inferia's a mixed culture.
You say she trained with mages. I'm guessing you mean the Inferian Legion. That's fine, but she likely wouldn't be an "expert" on Demons unless she joined the Parietis. As for Hansen, he's probably going to wind up a Zor, but he'd have to outlive the current Empress if he wants her position.
The bit about the miniatures and Cordonium devices fits perfectly. The piece she has is likely a Cordonium battery, designed to store a lot of energy but release it slowly over a long duration.
