"We make stupid decision n' risk our lives so no one else has tuh' be that stupid." - Quote :
- Taric lacks a surname, but truth be told he's never really needed one. Growing up in the jungles of Sarkun, he and his older brother knew each member of their village's small community like family. His true age a mystery, Taric leads a much more complicated life as a monster hunter.

- General:
Gifted men are born with a quick wit while blessed men are born with a handsome face, while Taric is born with a thick brow and the personality of cattle. His beady, green eyes and strong square jaw leave the impression that Taric is so stocky that he has more muscle where his mind should be.
While standing at only 5 foot 9, small is not the best word to describe Taric. Often called a 'mountain of meat' before a man, Taric is fitted with the muscles of a beast twice his size, with the strength to match. Taric has remarkable physical power and is incomparably resilient, putting most humans to shame and dwarves to envy. During his time as a brawler, the most common mistake opponents made were to assume Taric was slow. In reality the man is deceptively agile, and moves in trained, calculated steps.
Battle has been the only time Taric has shown much intelligence, unfortunately. Distant and dismissive, Taric is generally so quiet that others usually pass him off as either a mute or a lack-wit; both acceptable, considering Taric has never wrote poetry nor cast a spell. - Quote :
- Skill:
Firearms and traps? Don't make me laugh. Despite the influence of Occitanian civilization and occult mysteries of the jungles, Taric was raised a savage, and will forever be in modern Aeria. Even still, Taric is a fearsome warrior with his formidable power and speed. Taric's strength has been honed by his dangerous field of work, and surpasses that of normal human standards. Previously Taric has been able to hold his ground against giants, ogres and even trolls, and his skin has toughened several times over to the point of being natural armour from countless encounters with monsters and predatory wildlife.
In the past, Taric was unparalleled when wielding two handed weaponry, but recent events have caused Taric to avoid weapons with disgust and prejudice. Some time ago, Taric was sold as a slave to a fighting ring, where he quickly became the manager's best fighter. Taric became an expert in boxing, whom is not only capable of delivering massive unarmed strikes, but is familiar with the techniques and stances of pugilism.
Taric is, in truth, not a skilled individual, save for his area of expertise; monster hunting. A veteran and professional, Taric is able to track, spot, and above all, slay beasts with his brute strength and harsh training combined.
A savage at heart, Taric's only skill that borders metahuman is his ability to fly into a controlled rage, where his influence from adrenaline goes far beyond that of most other humans, causing his already frightening strength to increase while all pain is set aside for the duration of the rage. This fearsome power is naturally a very reckless course of action, as exhaustion follows soon after. - Quote :
- Biography:
In one of the countless primitive societies located in the jungles of Sarkun was an somewhat established Occitanian colony, employing nearby friendly tribal villages at mines in exchange for goods. Of some of the families of natives living in Sarkun that actually lived in the colony, Taric's unnamed family was as average as any other. Of course, the name Falkson was given to the family by the colony for sake of identification. Taric was born into his clan when one of the Occitanian taskmasters of the colony seduced Taric's mother behind her husband's back, resulting in Taric being born with lighter skin than other natives to Sarkun, but with the pointy ears common to many inhabitants of the jungle.
As a result, Taric was subject to some ridicule from the colony's youth as the local schoolteacher pounded as much information about Occitan as he could into Taric's young mind, seeing the boy as an opportunity to spread Occitanian culture into the primitive jungle of Sarkun. Some of the teachings were nice, Taric supposes, but his mother was resistant to this new culture and made the schoolteacher's job a trial every day with protest both verbal and constant, so more often than not the most Taric was able to learn each day were the clever new taunts the other children had made up for Taric.
So he left.
For a majority of his life, Taric spent his time among the undeveloped tribal societies of Sarkun, learning to hit things with other things. Occasionally, Taric would remember the Saints of Occitan that the colony wanted him to learn, mostly he remember Falk the saint of Anger and Vindication, and Taric's favourite saint. Sometimes, Taric liked to pretend to be Falk, and become really angry when he hit things, until during the end of his teenage years, Taric stumbled into a band of travelling monster hunters, who were more than happy to let Taric tag along and learn the job. Very quickly, Taric became a professional at hitting big things with sharp things, but that doesn't explain how Taric bumped into his companion Alec, or why he decided to follow him to Surna for work, now does it?
Honestly, Taric never put much thought into it. - Quote :
- Inventory:
At one time Taric had amassed a large pool of wealth and several impressive magic weapons, but has lost it all in a recent chain of events, save for a silver collar given to him by a close friend.
Taric possesses a magic falchion which he has dubbed 'The Shave'. This shining blade is magically sharpened to be impressively keen, and at-will can immediately conjure a protective bubble around the wielder for no longer than a couple seconds.
