Nevyn Vayle

       Nevyn was born on the outskirts of the frozen wastelands in a small patch of woodlands. His life revolved around survival, and he grew up in harsh lands. When he was born, he and his mother almost passed away due to the extreme cold and the natural birth inside his family's small shelter. For his first few years, he was nothing more than another mouth to feed, making life more difficult for his parents. After his mothers recovery, she had to stay home to take care of him while his father would oft spend his days hunting for small prey, deer and the like. Anything to feed his family. Around the time Nevyn was old enough to speak, his mother began hunting during the day, and teaching him basic skills at night, such as reading and writing, in Elven and some basic common. Once he had aged well enough to become a hunter, his father began taking him out on the hunt, and teaching him basic tracking skills, and ways to camouflage himself in the wastes for easy approach of the prey, but did not teach him to shoot until he was confident in his skills in tracking and cover. Soon, His father carved him a bow, and had him watch, showing him the basic carving techniques in order to create a bow and string, so that he would know how to make his own simple bow, or restring his bow when necessary. His father gave him some basic bow training, with simple targets made from wood, and showed him how to shoot, correcting his form, and improving his aim.

      Now comes Nevyn's trial, a hunt alone. He left his home, and ventured into the woods. He thought to himself, "Now, I can finally give back to the family that gave to me for so long." At this time, Nevyn was fifteen years old. He climbed into one of the small trees, and laid in wait. Soon, a scratching noise could be heard in the distance, and a deer slowly approached. He took a arrow from his quiver, and drew back his bowstring. The deer walked closer still, and he waited for his shot. One more step, and he sent the arrow flying into the deer, the deer stumbled back, and took off, leaving a blood trail on the snowy ground. Nevyn tracked the deer through the woods, and finally found it, lying dead against a tree. He pulled his arrow loose of the deer, and then grabbed the deer by its hind legs, dragging it through the woods back to his home.

      Nevyn is now 25 years old, and he is prepared to leave. He is getting old enough to leave his parents and set out on his own. He stayed with his parents for a year, and got them settled. Once he had said his goodbyes he set off, looking for a new place to live, and a new place to hunt. Upon his departure, his father gave him his old rapier, and wished him luck in his endeavors.

Physical Skills:
Archery - Can make a shot pretty easily if given a moment to aim, not yet able to rapidly load arrows or make quick shots.
Tracking - Can track anything if it's bleeding provided it it isn't raining, sometimes able to track by footprints and the environment.
Flethcing - Can make simple bows, and mid level arrows, Knows how to create bowstrings.
